It's been a crazy few weeks...or month! -----Happy 21st Birthday Cassandra!!!-----

Today is Sunday April 9, 2017...My only daughter's 21st birthday!

We had a HUGE scare a few weeks ago and her right lung collapsed (from having blebs/ air pockets in her lungs, has them in both) and it frightened us all. Thankfully she was able to get surgery and is all better now!

Today I weighed in on Richard's scale at 136 pounds! It was great. Yesterday I weighed in on his scale at 137 pounds and I didn't really think it would go down another pound, but it did! In all reality I didn't eat all that much yesterday Saturday April 8, 2017 (mom's b-day) because I just didn't.

I brought my scale as well and I weighed in on my scale yesterday  at 137.8 pounds and then today I weighed in on my scale at 136.4 pounds! Which I don't understand completely because of the fact that I didn't workout at all yesterday. But I didn't eat a lot either in my defense so that might be it... the reason that that scale went down. The only thing I ate that I shouldn't have was Richard's Uncle Ben's brown and wild rice, I either had one cup or half a cup of it. It was good but not the best choice of brown and wild rice to eat. But that's okay. We went to 99 Restaurant and Pub in Hooksett, NH yesterday to celebrate Richard's sister, Terri's upcoming 50th birthday (she will turn 50 on April 22 same day Richard's daughter Jess will turn 26). That was fun. We sat with Dakota (Tasha's daughter) and Lexie (Josh's daughter). Dakota is 5 and will turn 6 on May 10, 2017 and Lexie is 10 and will turn 11 on May 30, 2017. They were fun and I showed Lexie how to play cribbage on my phone and I took a couple of pictures of Lexie and myself. Fun day/ night actually as it was at 5:30pm. Jess was there but Ally was unable to make it there that day. Oh well.

So, my scale today showed 136.4 pounds and that really surprised me and shocked me at the same time! And I am NOW determined that I will continue to eat good all week long and workout everyday. I have been having a hard time focusing on food/ with food all week long. But yesterday I didn't eat as much as I probably should have. And then Friday night for dinner (4/7/17) I was eating at 11pm which is not good. I was able to get a workout in Thursday and Friday of this week just not yesterday. As I am trying to not workout on Saturdays as it is the one day we spend together. And I bought a cute girly type duffel bag for my travels to and from Manchester, NH.

so I had to use Richard's measuring tape in the metal case thingy/ the manly one.

Waist (bottom): 35.5" (not sure if this one is accurate or not)

R Thigh: 21.75"
L Thigh: 22.5"
R Arm: 10"
L Arm: 9.75"
R Wrist: 6"
L Wrist: 5.75"
Neck: 12.5"

This week: April 9 through April 14, 2017
My goal for this week is to eat good all week all long. I want to attempt to go to the gym in the morning before work. I want to eat breakfast and then try to have yogurt (Greek) for a snack and then have lunch and then maybe try to have almonds or something like that as a second snack and then I want to eat dinner. It would be great if I could hard boil eggs so that I can have them after a workout or at work or something or sometime when I am hungry. It is a very healthy snack to have.

I still want to NOT eat/drink the following foods:
sugar, candy, alcohol ( I will have one glass of sangria when I take Miss Cassandra out for her 21st birthday next weekend), cake, cookies, any kind of sweets, hot chocolate,  chocolate, pastries of any kind, cheese, pizza. If I want to have pizza I think I could have it when Cassie is up next weekend and I could just try to have it during lunch
rather than dinner. Carbs before dinner is always a good thing.

Bottom line I am very happy with what the scale/ my scale said today. I am very happy about it. I just wish that I could just keep going in that direction and you know tone up and maybe there is a chance that I can be down that much or close to it or at least down ten pounds from 147lbs on my scale the day that I do my progress pictures/ measurements when Sarah returns from her trip to Cancun this week. I am hoping that my results are everything that I have and she has hoped that they would be.

Nicole and Matthew's wedding is on Saturday May 6, 2017 and I am hoping that I am going to be closer to 130lbs by then/ by that date. As I am planning on buying another dress for that occasion as I am hoping to be in better shape for that wedding/ that time frame.

You figure I started my journey with Sarah on January 20, 2017 when I first got weighed in/ measured and pictures taken that day with Sarah. So that was a Friday. Friday January 20,2017

I did my own measurements on Sunday January 22, 2017 starting at 238.25" total inches.

Today when I did my measurements here at Richard's with a different measuring tape than what I have been using the total measurements were: 226.25" which means I am down 12" since January 22, 2017 which is so amazing for me.

But also for me, I feel that maybe it is not 100% accurate only in the fact that I was not able to use the same measuring tape (mine) that I use all the time as I somehow forgot to bring it with me this weekend. Go figure. Funny thing is I remember purposely bringing it or grabbing it to put it in a bag but I am thinking that maybe I forgot to possibly grab that bag on my way out Friday night/ afternoon. Oh well...

But after seeing the scale/ my scale this morning at Richard's I have decided that this is it! I just need to seriously get back on track and stay focused with the food that I need to eat or not eat/ drink for that matter.

I think so far this weekend I have done pretty good.

One more thing I want to put in here to remind myself. From here on out when I go to the 99 Restaurant for dinner or lunch or whenever here is what I NEED to do:

I will order the Lemon Rosemary Chicken Tips but I will get it with NO SIDES and I will get it with a garden salad with the light Italian dressing on the side and NO CHEESE. And only get croutons if Cassie is there so she can eat them you know.

That is just the way it has to be. That is what I did last night when I was at the restaurant. That is just what I did. And I may not have eaten that much for dinner there at the restaurant but that is okay.
